Transparence I-II

Transparence I-II

Objects / installation. “Transparence is a conversation in materials between Anna-Karin Bylund, textile and Henny Linn Kjellberg, ceramics. Linen and porcelain, two materials refined and shaped in different ways, both express their distinctive characters. The project expresses a silent but sharp listening, and the result is fascinating: a spatial installation where the roughness of the linen stands against the smooth surface of the porcelain. Strength and fragility – an image of body and soul in a single entity!” (Pernilla Norrman, curator. Gallery Formargruppen, Malmö. with support from IASPIS/ The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and Estrid Ericsons Foundation. 2002-2005.
